Our detached country house offers four various, cozy apartments complete with kitchen and bathroom, ranging in size from 35 to 80 m2.
As a unique feature, they all ( except one ) also boast state-of-the art wood fire stoves for that special kind of heat & warmth and a rare sensual and visual experience. All our apartments possess large, comfortable custom made King size beds and/or boxspring beds ( Swiss made ) as well as a stylish & classy sofa beds made of genuine leather for a sumptuous night's sleep every day of the week.
It is nestled in the sheltered courtyard on private premises with no public access. Our garden courtyard offers a wide range of various plants and trees and is endowed with our own artesian well, a unique, beautiful granite crust boulder from Fujian, with natural spring water.
There are 2 outside seating areas with Mangal and Webergrill BBQs as well as a campfire in our outdoor firebowl.
Its central location, in the heart of the hamlet, offers an ideal base for sightseeing and exploring the gorgeous surroundings.
Neighborhood overview
The entire surroundings are an integral nature reserve and wildlife sanctuary. Guests will find a wide array of well preserved, unspoiled nature to enjoy. There is an abundance of woods, hills, rivers, brooks and natural ponds and plenty of wildlife. Horseback riding, hiking, climbing, wild water rafting, swimming, cycling and other outdoor activities, you name it, can all be done right here or in the immediate vicinity. For those seeking spiritual reconnection with God and self-discovery, there is even a "Glaubenspfad" (pilgrim's trail ) leading right through the center of Goppertsweiler and several neighbouring hamlets.
Getting around
Goppertsweiler is conveniently located from Friedrichshafen (via Landstrasse 333), the region's tourist, exhibition & industry hub, and fairly close to Ravensburg , Wangen and Lindau. While there exists a regular public bus connection ( Line 7545) , it is highly recommended to travel by car for easy and convenient access.
Albeit the hamlet is only sparsely populated and laid back, it is home to one of the very finest gourmet restaurants of the Allgäu and Greater Lake Constance region. " Gasthof zum Hirsch ", an official MICHELIN restaurant ( https://www.bookatable.com/de/2tsik2l/gasthof-zum-hirsch-goppertsweiler ) our next door neighbour, offers an exquisite fine dining experience second to none!
